Our industry has normalized poison in 'trace amounts', and everyone's paying the price.
Phenoxyethanol
Most commonly used skincare preservative in the world.
Made using a known Group 1 Carcinogen, Ethylene Oxide.
Another toxic byproduct is formed during the reaction: 1,4-dioxane.
The industry can't completely filter these toxins out, so they allow trace amounts.
At nothing else, trace amounts of toxins are never acceptable.
We never use phenoxyethanol or any synthetic preservative.
Just rosemary extract.
note from our founder
I started nothing else because I’m allergic to preservatives.
The industry uses them in 99% of products. They’ve greenwashed us into believing they’re safe, and they've convinced us they're necessary. Neither is true.
Synthetic preservatives frequently disrupt the skin barrier and trigger contact allergies. Instead of protecting your skin, they constantly compromise it. I built this brand to prove that formulating without them isn’t just possible, it’s better. By removing the water, we remove the chemicals.
I also have psoriasis, and I have friends and family with worse. Rates of chronic skin conditions increase every year. We suffer, while the industry profits from the problem it creates.
Our mission is to delete preservatives from skincare so our skin can finally heal.
